22.06.2006 THE START OF THE PROJECT IS MOVED TOWARDS AUTUMN OF THIS YEAR.

the government (dept. of antiquities) of cyprus gave permission for the green bay wreck project.

after securing the finance it is planned to start the project on the 15.06.2006.

19.09.2005 BRASAL MARINE SERVICES AGREED TO SPONSOR THE INSTALLATION OF A PROPER MARKER BUOY, SETTING OF SEVERAL ANCHORS AND A WORK BARGE WITH MOON POOL STATIONED ON THE SITE.
18.09.2005 SEAHORSE FILM PRODUCTIONS , A CYPRIOT FILM PRODUCTION COMPANY, HAVE AGREED TO PRODUCE A FILM DOCUMENTARY FOR INTERNATIONAL DISTRIBUTION ABOUT THE GREEN BAY WRECK PROJECT.
12.09.2005 THE APPLICATION FOR THE PERMISSION OF THE GREEN BAY WRECK PROJECT WAS SUBMITTED TO THE DEPARTMENT OF ANTIQUITIES.

GERMAN RENOWNED MARINE ARCHAEOLOGIST, DR. HANZ G. MARTIN, TAKES OFFICIAL POSITION AS LEADING SUPERVISOR FOR THE PROJECT.

MARINE ARCHAEOLOGIST DUNCAN HOWITT-MARSHALL, FROM THE UNIVERSITY OF SOUTH HAMPTON JOINS THE TEAM.

01.09.2005

THE NAUTICAL ARCHAEOLOGICAL SOCIETY CONFIRMS IT SUPPORT AND CO-OPERATION IN THE GREEN BAY WRECK PROJECT. MR. MARK EDWARDS, MARINE ARCHAEOLOGIST AND INSTRUCTOR FOR THE NAS IS JOINING THE PROJECT TO ASSIST IN SCIENTIFIC ACADEMIC PROBLEMS ARISING DURING THE PROJECT.

29.08.2005 the green bay project plan is uploaded to the projects main page.

AQUATEC - INNERSPACE OPERATIONS LTD. had a very positive meeting with the director of the department of antiquities to present the project.

on behalf of AQUATEC - INNERSPACE OPERATIONS LTD., deguwa holds talks with several German universities and their marine archaeologists to be incorporated into the project.

AQUATEC - INNERSPACE OPERATIONS LTD. PARTICIPATED AT THE 9th International Symposium on Ship Construction in Antiquity - TROPIS 2005, THE world congress of underwater archaeology.

DURING MEETINGS WITH INTERNATIONAL LEADERS IN UNDERWATER ARCHAEOLOGY THE GREEN BAY WRECK PROJECT PLAN (soon published here) WAS POSITIVELY COMMENTED.

THE GERMAN SOCIETY FOR THE PROMOTION FOR UNDERWATER ARCHAEOLOGY (deguwa) IS SUPPORTING AND CO-OPERATING IN THE PROJECT.
