Commodore Robert S. Bates Expedition Leader |
has his unlimited Master’s license with STCW’95 certifications. Professional experience includes increasing responsibility in all areas of marine transportation during 22 years as a U.S. Coast Guard officer both afloat and ashore and 20 years as a Merchant Marine Officer serving principally as master on research and survey vessels. He will serve as FSE Commodore for the expedition, bringing a half-century of maritime experience to the project. |

Darios Melas Marine Operations Director |
is the co-owner of EDT Transport & Trading (ME) Co. Ltd., which was established in Limassol, Cyprus in December 1980, serving as Ship Owners/Managers and Tug Brokers. EDT is highly respected and recognized worldwide in the oceanographic research field, and will be providing the marine platform for the Atlantis project. |

is co-owner of Phoenix International. Phoenix uses a variety of manned and unmanned technologies supported by highly experienced operators and engineers to develop cost-effective solutions to a wide range of underwater challenges. Phoenix's client base includes governments and their militaries, oil & gas as well as science and academia. They will provide the Remote Operated Vehicle for the Atlantis project. |

Patrick H. Lowry Chief Scientist |
is the president of the Scotia Group in Dallas, Texas. He is a licensed professional Geoscientist (BSc, P.G. Geology) and is involved in a variety of geological and engineering studies related to the Atlantis project. He was responsible for producing the world’s first detailed bathymetric maps and models of the eastern Mediterranean Sea. |

is the president of Heritage Standard Corporation in Dallas, Texas. As the principle investor in the Atlantis project, he provided the funding and technology that culminated in the production of the world’s first detailed bathymetric maps of the eastern Mediterranean Sea. he is currently involved in Bronze Age archaeological work in Greece. |

Bo Atkinson Computer-aided Designer / chief illustrator |
has created some of the world’s finest recreations of Plato’s description of Atlantis and has intensive experience with CAD (computer aided design), with a previous mastery in many areas of building, environmental issues, materials science and electronic physics. His work will broaden to include the creation of new 3D models based on bathymetric data produced in 2003 and 2004. |

IT specializes in the visual promotion of products and ideas for a wide variety of applications such as TV commercials, documentaries, films, corporate videos, TV games, live audiovisual presentations and visualization of architectural and historical events. Additionally the company had been involved into the development of new audiovisual technologies and COLLABORATES with major world inventors. In the year 1996, the company was a Finalist in the London International Advertising Awards among hundreds of CANDIDATES. Panikos produced the world's first recreation of the great Mediterranean flood. |

is co-founder and president of Square Circles Publishing, Inc. For 36 years she worked as an artist and production coordinator in the animation industry, and supervised several international projects for Hanna-Barbera and Don Bluth. she recently retired from Walt Disney Studios where she earned screen credit on such films as The Lion King and Atlantis: The Lost Empire. She has successfully managed other fundraising efforts in the past. |

has approximately 40 years of experience encompassing corporate and real estate finance as well as business development and management with emphasis on finance, marketing and sales. in addition, he served on the active corps of executives for the small business administration, providing consulting services to numerous small and mid-sized companies. he is an investor in the Atlantis project. |

is a tax and transactional attorney and principal shareholder with the international law firm Greenberg Traurig. His practice primarily focuses on taxation, contract transactions, municipal finance, and complex corporate financing. He is generally recognized as one of North Florida’s foremost transactional attorneys. he represents and is an investor in the Atlantis project. |

draws upon over 15 years of international press and PR experience, specializing in projects relating to education and science. A successful author in the UK, she has run press offices and acted as national media spokesperson on behalf of a wide variety of organizations, well known individuals and campaigns. Angela is based in London and is the coordinator of all media campaigns related to the Atlantis project. |

Janelle Balnicke Documentary writer and Producer |
has been a producer, writer and director in the United States for more than twenty years. She has worked with many renowned authors on programs such as astronomer Carl Sagan's series "Cosmos," with mythologist Joseph Campbell on "The Hero's Journey" and with historian William Goetzmann on "The West of the Imagination." In addition, she has produced programs on science for the Smithsonian Institution in Washington, DC and was on the staff of National Geographic Television as Director of Specials Development. |

is the owner of Aquatec - Innerspace Operations, Ltd., and a world renowned deep sea diver. He specializes in deep diving, underwater and marine project management, media services, science applications and the use of research, search and salvage technology including side scan sonar, magnetometer and ROV operations. axel will also head the underwater filming, media operations, research navigation on site AND is archaeological advisor during the expedition. |

Dennis de Jong Internet Applications Manager |
is an internet technology specialist and is in charge of providing the internet platform(s) and designing, up keeping, and upgrading the various websites related to the Atlantis project. His work will broaden in the near future to include live satellite footage from the expedition vessel to various websites throughout the world. |

is the publisher of Origin Press based in California. He has a B.A. in intellectual history from the University of Chicago and his graduate studies have embraced humanities, literature, and religious studies conducted at Naropa Institute where he studied with poet Allen Ginsberg, and at University of California (Berkeley and Santa Cruz) and at the California Institute of Integral Studies. he is an investor in the Atlantis project. |
